Terms & Conditions

Please read these terms carefully before using our services. By engaging with Interactive Spaces, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, engaging our services, or purchasing our products, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Interactive Spaces reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Continued use of our services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

2. Description of Services

Interactive Spaces provides smart home automation solutions, including but not limited to:

  • Consultation and design of smart home systems
  • Installation and configuration of automation hardware and software
  • Integration of existing devices into unified control systems
  • Energy monitoring and management solutions
  • Ongoing support and maintenance services

The specific scope of services will be detailed in individual service agreements or project proposals.

3. Client Responsibilities

As a client, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate and complete information about your space and requirements
  • Ensure adequate power supply and network infrastructure as specified
  • Grant reasonable access to your property for installation and maintenance
  • Maintain the integrity of installed systems and not tamper with configurations without consultation
  • Promptly report any issues or malfunctions to our support team
  • Make timely payments as agreed in service contracts

4. Payment Terms

  • Payment schedules and amounts will be specified in individual service agreements
  • A deposit may be required before work commences
  • Final payment is due upon completion of installation unless otherwise agreed
  • Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the service agreement
  • All prices are in the currency specified in your quote and are subject to applicable taxes

5. Warranty & Guarantees

Interactive Spaces provides the following warranties:

  • Installation Warranty: We guarantee our installation work for 12 months from the completion date
  • Hardware Warranty: Hardware products carry manufacturer warranties, which we will help you process
  • System Performance: We warrant that your system will perform as specified in the project agreement

Warranties do not cover damage caused by misuse, unauthorized modifications, power surges, natural disasters, or normal wear and tear.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law:

  • Interactive Spaces shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
  • Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim
  • We are not responsible for damages resulting from power outages, internet disruptions, or third-party service failures
  • Smart home systems are designed to enhance convenience but should not be solely relied upon for security or safety-critical functions

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on our website, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Interactive Spaces or its licensors
  • Custom configurations and automation scripts created for your project remain your property for use within your system
  • General methodologies, tools, and techniques developed by Interactive Spaces remain our intellectual property
  • You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without permission

8. Termination

Either party may terminate a service agreement under the following conditions:

  • By mutual written agreement
  • For material breach of contract, with 14 days written notice to cure
  • By the client, subject to payment for work completed and any cancellation fees specified in the agreement

Upon termination, you retain ownership of all installed hardware and your system will continue to function locally.

9. Dispute Resolution

In the event of any dispute arising from these terms or our services:

  • The parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter through good-faith negotiation
  • If negotiation fails, the parties may agree to mediation
  • Any legal proceedings shall be conducted in the courts of Lebanon
  • These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Lebanese law

10. Force Majeure

Interactive Spaces shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performance resulting from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, war, civil unrest, government actions, power outages, supply chain disruptions, or pandemics.

11. Entire Agreement

These Terms and Conditions, together with any service agreements and project proposals, constitute the entire agreement between you and Interactive Spaces. Any modifications must be in writing and agreed upon by both parties.
